How To Install CyberPanel

You can follow the guides here to install CyberPanel that using the OpenLiteSpeed as its back end. CyberPanel is ready now and awaits you to give this control panel software a try.

CyberPanel is delivered with two versions for us to choose, firstly it’s simply CyberPanel and the second version is CyberPanel Ent. CyberPanel comes with OpenLiteSpeed and using it is free of charge for all domains and workers as you like.

While CyberPanel Ent is armed with LiteSpeed Web Server Enterprise, free only for 1 domain. If you want to add more domains then you are charged with monthly subscription fee. See their pricing page here.

Specifications required to install CyberPanel are:

  • Server type: CentOS 7.
  • RAM: 1 GB.
  • Disk Space: 10 GB.

How to install CyberPanel and CyberPanel Ent

So here is the interface of CyberPanel once you have installed the CyberPanel.

Install CyberPanel

All it takes to install CyberPanel on your VPS server is one single line of code, which is this:

sh <(curl https://cyberpanel.net/install.sh || wget -O - https://cyberpanel.net/install.sh)

Note: Use Putty to run the command above.


Additional information for those using OS Linux template with sudo

However if your server provider using OS Linux template equipped with sudo (Just like Google Cloud Platform), then you need to firstly execute the following command before running the above command:


Note: I failed when using sudo, instead I used su.

So, the complete step is the following:

Run this first:


Then run this to install CyberPanel:

sh <(curl https://cyberpanel.net/install.sh || wget -O - https://cyberpanel.net/install.sh)

Once the installations done, you will be informed about your login credentials and the URL of your CyberPanel control panel like the following:

Visit: https://IP-Address:8090
Username: admin
Password: 1234567

Note: If you failed to access using that port: 8090, please to firstly whitelist it via FireWall.

Once you have successfully logged into your control panel, please to firstly change your admin password, because the default password is so easy to be guessed by outsider.

How to install CyberPanel Ent

The process to install to install this version is the same with installing the CyberPanel, however for CyberPanel Ent you need a license Key.

Because before the installation start, you will be asked for license key. Once you have it. Then run this installation script on your command line terminal.

sh <(curl https://cyberpanel.net/install.sh || wget -O - https://cyberpanel.net/install.sh)
